I love sharing stories of resilience, examples of applying simple techniques that can make profound differences in the course of our everyday lives, and the lives of those with whom we interact.

(water ripples in the shape of a heart)

There are scores of beneficial programs available to us, designed to help us reduce stress, be better people, offering protocol to be mindful, communicate compassionately, behave respectfully and perform optimally. Most of us relate to these programs and want to embody the wisdom, but often don’t because we are overwhelmed and exhausted with responsibility, worried about finances, struggling with ailments, or anxious or depressed about things we can’t control.

Let me share with you some simple, evidence-based techniques you can practice eyes wide open, on-the-go, to gain the time and energy to do what you do, do it well and feel great about it, with energy to spare at the end of the day.

STRESS LESS. BE MORE. DO MORE. LIVE MORE.

Stress affects all demographics – sparing not age, race, status or profession. A Certified HeartMath® Master Trainer and Mentor, what I have to share personally and professionally can appeal to many, exploring both the role of the heart in human performance and the supporting science and research. Suggesting the heart is an access point to a source of wisdom we can call upon to live our lives with more balance, creativity and intuition, HeartMath provides a practical framework of practice and extensive scientific, peer-reviewed research, supporting the physiological benefits and measurable outcomes.

This is not something you must carve more time out to do. HeartMath techniques can be applied anywhere, any time, no matter where you are or what you are doing. With practice, you can experience increased energy, improved health, enhanced relationships, boosted performance and achieve greater fulfillment. Significantly reducing stress is possible, and is a lovely way to live.

Certified in HeartMath® Resilience Advantage™, Activating the Heart of Teams™ Building Personal Resilience™ and The Resilient Heart™ - Trauma-Sensitive Care, an introduction to any of the HeartMath systems, or more general topics on resilience, coherence and intelligent energy management are available in 30, 60 or 90-minute presentations. Please let me know of opportunity to share this inspirational information with your group. I’d love to hear from you.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

‘There are days when it is SUPER hard not to feel anger but I’ve learned to feel more compassion for others and in difficult situations. I focus on my breath and shift to a positive feeling… my anger no longer lingers and I continue my day more energized. The tactics I used before seem silly compared to HeartMath techniques. HeartMath exercises are different because even practiced for only several seconds, you get a moment to balance your heart and your mind. It’s amazing what these exercises do. It’s beautiful. One thing I ABSOLUTELY LOVED was my instructor for the course, Meg Hogan. She was patient, funny, caring, and did not judge anything I had to say. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to feel at ease in difficult, annoying, stressful situations, and I would HIGHLY recommend that the instructor be Meg Hogan.’

"…we were shown techniques to help ourselves without leaving the office. We all knew how our minds were in overload, but now we were seeing in front of us (emWave technology) the effect of just revisiting a mildly traumatic experience. Then we learned and practiced how to care (for) and appreciate ourselves, how to feel better, and ready, and replenished…how to find balance and be able to handle stressful situations better. It was a great, positive experience. I have hope and tools to continue doing my best for myself and for others."
